About Us
The Lady Bird Fishing Camp (originally called Lucas’ Fishing camp), was born out of a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for fishing. Lucas founded the camp in 2020, and what started as a small fishing camp in Austin, TX, has grown into a thriving community of young adventurers. Today, we’re proud to welcome over 150 kids each summer, teaching skills that keep kids outside and instill a love for the outdoors.
SERVICES
2026 Summer Camps
Our signature summer camp is focused on fishing and it is filled with other activities that allow kids to enjoy the great outdoors. Run by Lucas, Nicolas and Mateo, these camps are all about free-play, self-reliance, problem solving, and lots of adventure.

Birthday Parties
WE NOW DO BIRTHDAY PARTIES!! Celebrate with us in a fun, adventurous, and fishy way. Our team will provide everything needed, (including rods for your guests as party favors!). Limited spots each year, make sure to contact us to book in advance.
Fishing Lessons and Tours
Guided by Lucas or Nicolás, fishing, we provide fishing lessons tailored
to each child. From
baiting a hook to casting a line, we cover it
all.

Expert Counselors
With Lucas’s expertise in fishing and counselors that are certified lifeguards, we provide a safe, educational, and adventurous environment for all campers.

We are big believers of free play. We allow campers time to roam, explore, and be kids, yet always with attentive supervision.
